Physics teaching in youth and adult education: paths and reflections

Resumo: | Historically in Brazil, education aimed at young people and adults was characterized by the formation of subjects prepared for professional practice, considering the different stages of development Brazilian industry. Over the decades, this need continued to permeate the initiatives education and public policies, with few developments of a humanistic nature. However, with the changes generated by the economic scenario of the last 40 years, thinking about Youth Education andAdults only directed to the world of work means restricting the potential and the social protagonism of these subjects. Therefore, from the modern conceptions about Education of Young People and Adults, we seek in this article to reflect on the teaching of Physics in this modality of teaching, highlighting the role of this field of science in the scientific and emancipatory education of citizens, schooled, fit for professional practice, and capable of understanding the nature around them. The role of Physics in the professional and school formation of these professionals will be discussed in a critical-reflective way. subjects, highlighting the teacher's pedagogical performance in teaching the different contents that characterize the curriculum of this discipline in view of the current training parameters that guide this modality. This study has a qualitative bibliographic character, presenting research results carried out in the last decade, reverberating the important role of Science Teaching in schooling for the social exercise and for the world of work, contrasting with the old conceptions based on only in filling jobs. |

A lo largo de las décadas, esta necesidad siguió impregnando las iniciativas educación y políticas públicas, con pocos desarrollos de carácter humanístico. Sin embargo, con el cambios generados por el escenario económico de los últimos 40 años, pensando en la Educación Juvenil yAdultos solo dirigidos al mundo del trabajo significa restringir el potencial y la protagonismo social de estos sujetos. Por tanto, desde las concepciones modernas sobre la Educación de Jóvenes y Adultos, buscamos en este artículo reflexionar sobre la enseñanza de la Física en esta modalidad de la enseñanza, destacando el papel de este campo de la ciencia en la formación científica y emancipadora de los ciudadanos, educados, aptos para la práctica profesional y capaces de comprender la naturaleza que los rodea. El papel de la Física en la formación profesional y escolar de estos profesionales será discutido de manera crítico-reflexiva. materias, destacando el desempeño pedagógico del docente en la enseñanza de los diferentes contenidos que caracterizar el currículo de esta disciplina a la luz de los parámetros formativos actuales que orientan estamodalidad. Este estudio tiene un carácter bibliográfico cualitativo, presentando resultados de investigación realizadas en la última década, repercutiendo en el importante papel de la Enseñanza de las Ciencias en la escolarización para el ejercicio social y para el mundo del trabajo, contrastando con las antiguas concepciones basadas en solo en trabajos de relleno.Historicamente no Brasil, a educação voltada para jovens e adultos caracterizou-se pela formação de sujeitos preparados para o exercício profissional, considerando as diferentes etapas do desenvolvimento industrial brasileiro. Ao longo das décadas, esta necessidade continuou permeando as iniciativas educacionais e políticas públicas, com poucas evoluções de cunho humanístico. No entanto, com as mudanças geradas pelo cenário econômico dos últimos 40 anos, pensar numa Educação de Jovens e Adultos apenas direcionada para o universo do trabalho significa restringir as potencialidades e o protagonismo social destes sujeitos. Diante disso, a partir das modernas concepções acerca da Educação de Jovens e Adultos, buscamos neste artigo refletir acerca do ensino da Física nesta modalidade de ensino, destacando o papel deste campo da ciência na educação científica e emancipatória de cidadãos, escolarizados, aptos para o exercício profissional, e capazes de compreender a natureza ao seu redor. Serão discutidos de forma crítico-reflexiva o papel da Física na formação profissional e escolar destes sujeitos, destacando a atuação pedagógica do professor no ensino dos diferentes conteúdos que caracterizam o currículo desta disciplina diante dos atuais parâmetros formativos que orientam esta modalidade.
