(Re)thinking antiracist education in Brazil: an analysis

Resumo: | This article aims to present a brief reflection on the possibility of an Anti-Racist Education process in Brazil. Bring some reflections and concepts about Anti-Racist Education, racism and its types, race/ethnicity and how citizens and educators, members of this process, can contribute to making this change effective. With an analysis focused on the Brazilian context, the following discussion aims to contribute to the reduction of racism in the school environment. Therefore, the proposal is to find out how the opportunity for educational growth is provided in the most needy communities. What pedagogical knowledge will be built based on equal opportunities for all? The proposal is to investigate the opportunity for educational growth in needy communities, through the construction of pedagogical knowledge and the opportunity for equality for all, all of this based on education for all, observing respect for differences, with the school being responsible for ensuring that this right be fully complied with. Law No. 10,639/2023 establishes the appreciation of Afro-Brazilian history and culture and explains its basic implications in the formation of society. Another advance was the implementation in Brazil of the Law on Racism and Racial Injury, based on the Brazilian Penal Code. |

Traer algunas reflexiones y conceptos sobre la Educación Antirracista, el racismo y sus tipos, la raza/etnia y cómo los ciudadanos y educadores, integrantes de este proceso, pueden contribuir a que este cambio sea efectivo. Con un análisis centrado en el contexto brasileño, la siguiente discusión tiene como objetivo contribuir a la reducción del racismo en el ambiente escolar. Por lo tanto, la propuesta es conocer cómo se brinda la oportunidad de crecimiento educativo en las comunidades más necesitadas. ¿Qué conocimientos pedagógicos se construirán en base a la igualdad de oportunidades para todos? La propuesta es investigar la oportunidad de crecimiento educativo en comunidades necesitadas, a través de la construcción de conocimientos pedagógicos y la oportunidad de igualdad para todos, todo esto basado en la educación para todos, observando el respeto a las diferencias, siendo la escuela la responsable de garantizar que este derecho se cumpla plenamente. La Ley nº 10.639/2023 establece la valorización de la historia y la cultura afrobrasileñas y explica sus implicaciones básicas en la formación de la sociedad. Otro avance fue la implementación en Brasil de la Ley sobre Racismo y Daño Racial, basada en el Código Penal brasileño.O presente artigo tem por objetivo apresentar uma breve reflexão sobre a possibilidade de um processo de Educação Antirracista no Brasil. Trazer algumas reflexões e conceitos sobre Educação Antirracista, racismo e seus tipos, raça/etnia e como cidadãos e educadores, integrantes desse processo, podem contribuir para que essa mudança seja efetiva. Com uma análise centrada no contexto brasileiro, a seguinte discussão tem por objetivo contribuir para a redução do racismo no ambiente escolar. Portanto a proposta é a de averiguar como se dá a oportunidade de crescimento educacional nas comunidades mais carentes. Quais conhecimentos pedagógicos que serão construidos partindo de oportunidade de igualdade para todos? A proposta é a de averiguar a oportunidade de crescimento educacional em comunidades carentes, através da construção do conhecimento pedagógico e da oportunidade de igualdade para todos, tudo isso pautado numa educação para todos, observado o respeito às diferenças, cabendo à escola garantir que esse direito seja cumprido integralmente. A Lei nº 10.639/2023, estabelece a valorização da história e cultura afro-brasileira e explicita suas implicações basilares na formação da sociedade.
