Resumo: MYTHS AND EDUCATION IN THE TENTEHAR ANCESTRALITY ABSTRACT The article deals with education pedagogies of the Tentehar people. With an ethnographic method, the study was developed with the Tentehar who live in the Arariboia indigenous territory.At articulation between mythical narratives and the interlocutors' biocultural memory we recall principles and values ​​that guide thinking and pedagogy in the world indigenous. The plot was produced by men and women from the Juçaral village who shared with us knowledge, ways of life and everyday problems. In the culture ancestral tentehar mythical narratives feed the formative process among this people, for through them, values ​​are transmitted that educate in their cosmology. Oral repetition is one of the methods for learning and teaching in this culture. Their narratives irrigate the individual and collective memory, feed a pedagogy of resistance and keep them connected with primary values. Living in a more balanced and sustainable way is one of the their ancestral values.

Por medio del método etnográfico, el estudio fue desarrollado en la comunidad Tentehar que vive en el territorio indígena Arariboia. A partir de la articulación entre las narrativas míticas y la memoria biocultural de los interlocutores, rememoramos principios y valores que orientan el pensamiento y la pedagogía en el mundo indígena. El enredo fue producido por hombres y mujeres de la aldea Juçaral que comparten saberes, modos de vida y problemas de su cotidiano. En la cultura ancestral tentehar, las narrativas míticas alimentan su proceso formativo, así que son transmitidos valores que educan en su cosmología. La repetición oral es un de los métodos para enseñar y aprender en esta cultura. Sus narrativas irrigan la memoria individual y colectiva, alimentan una pedagogía de la resistencia y mantiene su pueblo conectado a los valores primordiales. Vivir de forma más equilibrada y sostenible es un de sus valores ancestrales. Com método etnográfico, o estudo foi desenvolvido junto aos Tentehar que vivem no território indígena Arariboia. Na articulação entre narrativas míticas e a memória biocultural dos interlocutores rememoramos princípios e valores que orientam o pensamento e a pedagogia no mundo indígena. O enredo foi produzido por homens e mulheres da aldeia Juçaral que compartilharam conosco saberes, modos de vida e problemas do seu cotidiano. Na cultura ancestral tentehar narrativas míticas alimentam o processo formativo entre esse povo, por seu intermédio são transmitidos valores que educam na sua cosmologia. A repetição oral é um dos métodos para se aprender e ensinar nessa cultura. Suas narrativas irrigam a memória individual e coletiva, alimentam uma pedagogia da resistência e os mantêm conectados com valores primordiais. Viver de forma mais equilibrada e sustentável é um dos seus valores ancestrais.     [1] O texto decorre da convivência de uma das autoras com o povo indígena tentehar (Guajajara) da aldeia Juçaral no Maranhão nos estudos sete anos, em trabalhos de extensão, pesquisa e outras partilhas.
