Education and contemporary technologies:: digital narratives from young people in video-letters

Resumo: ABSTRACT: This article is an excerpt of an ongoing postdoctoral research and chooses the digital narratives, the video-letters and youth as central theoretical categories. The study intends to analyze the repercussions of video-letters produced by young people within the context of education. This work describes four video-letters projects made by young people and discusses their forms of expression mediated by technology. The methodology of this article is composed by the review of literature on digital narratives, video-letters and video-letters projects. The results of the review of literature of this article reveal that the academic production on digital narratives and video-letters are recent in Brazil, for instance the Kieling studies (2012), Rodrigues (2020), Ruiz (2009) and Dultra (2019). Regarding the analyzed projects, the video-letters show that the digital narratives of the young people, considered here as historical and singular subjects (LEIRO, 2004), bring subjective reflections about their lives, contribute to the redefinition of traditional letters and indicate new times in the intersecting of education with contemporary technologies.    Keywords: Digital Narratives. Youth. RESUMEN: El artículo objeto de revisión es una sección de una investigación posdoctoral en curso y elige las narrativas digitales, las video cartas y la juventud como categorías teóricas centrales. Se propone analizar la repercusión de las video cartas producidas por los jóvenes en el ámbito de la educación. La escritura en pantalla describe inicialmente cuatro proyectos de video cartas de jóvenes y analiza sus formas de expresión mediada por la tecnología. La vía metodológica incluyó una revisión de la literatura sobre narrativas digitales, las vídeo cartas y proyectos de de videos cartas. Los resultados de la revisión bibliográfica de este artículo revelan que la producción académica sobre las narrativas digitales y las vídeos cartas son recientes en Brasil, como los estúdios de Kieling (2012), Rodrigues (2020), Ruiz (2009) y Dultra (2018). En cuanto a los proyectos analizados, las video cartas mostraron que las narrativas digitales de los jóvenes, tomados aquí como sujetos históricos y singulares, Leiro (2004), traen reflejos subjetivos sobre sus vidas, contribuyen a la resignificación de las letras tradicionales e indican nuevos tiempos en la encrucijada de la educación con las tecnologías contemporáneas.  Palabras clave: Narraciones digitales, Videocartas, JóvenesRESUMO: O artigo em revista é um recorte de uma pesquisa de pós-doutorado em curso e elege as narrativas digitais, as vídeo-cartas e as juventudes como categorias teóricas centrais. Intenta analisar as repercussões das vídeo-cartas produzidas por jovens no âmbito da educação. A escrita em tela inicialmente descreve quatro projetos de vídeo-cartas de jovens e discute suas formas de expressão, mediadas pela tecnologia. A trilha metodológica contou com uma revisão de literatura sobre narrativas digitais, vídeo-cartas e projetos de vídeo-cartas. Os resultados da revisão de literatura deste artigo revelam que a produção acadêmica sobre narrativas digitais e vídeo-cartas são recentes no Brasil, como os estudos Kieling (2012), Rodrigues (2020), Ruiz (2009) e Dultra (2018).
