Resumo: It presents research on the relations between the Education of the Field, the Territory and the school on / of the island in a traditional community on the coast of Paraná. It aims to understand the meaning that education and school in the countryside on / of the island have for communities on the coast of Paraná in relation to the territory. The theoretical and methodological path assumes the dialectical conception of knowledge and uses techniques and procedures relevant to the methodological focus of the ethnographic research approach. Performs participant observation, record in the field notebook, photographs, questionnaires, interviews and documentary study to produce the data and searches, in the analysis of the situation, the necessary contributions for the unveiling of reality. It finds as main results that, the contributions of the academic productions on Education of the Field have expanded; it is necessary to move forward with the processes carried out by the school within the communities; although educational practices already seek to articulate culture, work as a way of life and the territory, there is still space to intensify and deepen these issues, considered essential in the struggle for school in the countryside of / on the island. It concludes by the need for the subjects involved in the relationship between school, community and territory to seek strategies for approaching and breaking the boundaries of otherness, in order to move forward with an emancipating educational project

Se busca comprender el significado que la educación y la escuela en el campo de / en la isla tienen para las comunidades de la costa de Paraná en relación con el territorio. La trayectoria teórica y metodológica asume la concepción dialéctica del conocimiento y utiliza técnicas y procedimientos relevantes al enfoque metodológico de investigación etnográfica. Realiza observación participante, registro en el cuaderno de campo, fotografías, cuestionarios, entrevistas y estudio documental para producir los datos y busca, en el análisis de la situación, los aportes necesarios para el desvelamiento de la realidad. Encuentra como principales resultados que los aportes de las producciones académicas sobre Educación del Campo se han expandido; es necesario avanzar en los procesos que lleva a cabo la escuela en las comunidades; si bien las prácticas educativas ya buscan articular la cultura, el trabajo como forma de vida y el territorio, todavía hay espacio para intensificar y profundizar estos temas, considerados imprescindibles en la lucha por la escuela en el campo de / en la isla. Se concluye por la necesidad de que los sujetos involucrados en la relación escuela, comunidad y territorio busquen estrategias para acercarse y romper los límites de la alteridad, para avanzar en un proyecto educativo emancipador.Apresenta pesquisa sobre as relações entre a Educação do Campo, o Território e a escola da/na ilha em uma comunidade tradicional no litoral do Paraná. Objetiva compreender o significado que a educação e a escola do campo da/na ilha têm para as comunidades do litoral paranaense na relação com o território. O percurso teórico metodológico assume a concepção dialética do conhecimento e utiliza técnicas e procedimentos pertinentes ao enfoque metodológico de pesquisa do tipo etnográfica. Realiza observação participante, registro no caderno de campo, fotografias, questionários, entrevistas e estudo documental para produzir os dados e busca, na análise de conjuntura, os aportes necessários para o desvelamento da realidade. Constata como principais resultados que, as contribuições das produções acadêmicas sobre Educação do Campo se ampliaram; é preciso avançar com os processos realizados pela escola dentro das comunidades; embora práticas educativas já busquem articular cultura, trabalho enquanto modo de vida e o território, ainda há espaço para intensificar e aprofundar estas questões, consideradas essenciais na luta pela escola do campo da/na ilha.
