Resumo: | This article is part of our doctoral thesis where we aim to weigh how public and private agents have appropriated the images of the city of Salvador created by the author Jorge Amado and re-signified them, through urban marketing to give institutional support to the tourism. In this work, we point out that it is possible to think of literature as an instrument to obtain advantages in intercity competition, since the use of marketing tools, imported from the private business universe, gained space in public administrations. |
