Resumo: Currently, indigenous teachers are teaching indigenous language and culture in indigenous schools. However, parents consider the teaching of language and culture a little weak, especially in Corumbauzinho village. Thus, the objective of this work is to identify the strategies developed by Pataxó teachers from Corumbauzinho village, with the purpose of strengthening the teaching of indigenous culture and language. This research will use the qualitative approach. As a result, it is observed that the indigenous teachers of the Corumbauzinho village strive to strengthen the indigenous language and culture using various strategies. It is concluded that the Department of Education of the State of Bahia can help strengthen indigenous language and culture through specific public tender for culture teachers, as well as promoting more continuing education for teachers who work with indigenous language and culture.

Todavia, os pais consideram o ensino da língua e da cultura um pouco fraco, principalmente na aldeia Corumbauzinho. Assim, o objetivo desse trabalho é identificar as estratégias elaboradas pelos professores Pataxó da aldeia Corumbauzinho, com a finalidade de fortalecer o ensino da cultura e da língua indígena. Essa pesquisa utilizará a abordagem qualitativa. Como resultado, observa-se que os professores indígenas da aldeia Corumbauzinho esforçam-se para fortalecer a língua e a cultura indígena utilizando várias estratégias.
