Resumo: | This text proposes to reflect on the relations established between school and LGBT bodies. While articulating concepts explored by Michel Foucault, Achille Mbembe and Judith Butler – more specifically, the concepts of biopolitics, necropolitics, abjection and grievable bodies – we address the way in which cisheteronormativity, circulating in the school environment, produces cisheterosexual bodies in a compulsive manner and in opposition to bodies comprehended as abject. In line with the discussions on necropolitics, we argue that the zone of abjection in which bodies that challenge cisheteronormativity are positioned is the element that makes death policies against the LGBT population possible, while the loss of their lives generates no grief or commotion. |
