Sex education and curriculum of sciences/biology: challenges to teaching practice

Resumo: | In this article proposes a debate on the curriculum of sex education. Even targeted to be interdisciplinary, the discussion in this area historically occurs in disciplines of science / biology and marked by a teaching practice centered on an anatomical and physiological teaching, reinforcing understandings of the body as a breeding machine. However, for being sexuality a relational and historical matter, currently, sex education in schools should also seek the reflection of the sexual behavior of boys and girls in society. At the end, it seems that teachers act as moral to participate in the construction of sexuality of boys and girls, in order to welcome the differences and to enhance the value of deviation in sexual behaviors that break with standard agents. |

Entendemos que su ejercicio se produce históricamente por las disciplinas de la ciencia/biología, debido a una práctica docente centrada en la información y educación fisiólogo del ejercicio en el cuerpo como una máquina de reproducción. Por otro lado, actualmente, educación sexual en las escuelas también busca la reflexión del comportamiento sexual de los niños y niñas en la sociedad, porque es una cuestión relacional sexualidad e historia. Al final, nos parece que los profesores actúan como agentes Morales a participar en la construcción de la sexualidad de niños y niñas, con el fin de dar cabida a las diferencias o para mejorar el valor de la desviación de conductas sexuales que rompen con el heternormatividade.Nesse artigo propomos um debate do currículo escolar sobre educação sexual nas escolas. Entendemos que seu exercício ocorre historicamente pelas disciplinas de ciências/biologia, devido a uma prática docente centrada em um ensino informativo e fisiologista sobre o corpo como máquina reprodutora. Por outro lado, atualmente, a educação sexual nas escolas também busca a reflexão dos comportamentos sexuais de meninos e meninas na sociedade, por ser a sexualidade um assunto relacional e histórico.
