Resumo: Is it possible to find an intermezzo in the body, an indirect language that allows moving the literature, the philosophy, the art? For the phenomenology of Merleau-Ponty the transubstantiation among the body, art and philosophy is fully possible through the sensitive language and its expression in words, in painting, in literature, in the images of cinema, among other indicators of the culture world. In this article, we related the construction process of the show “the word is gesture”, staged by the Estandarte Theater Group, in 2006, discussing the relationship among body, language and aesthetics.
