Resumo: Neste artigo, propomos uma análise dos poderes exercidos pelos Imperadores Romanos na passagem do III para o IV século d.C., a partir do redimensionamento do conceito de imperium e da diferenciação entre Imperadores legítimos e usurpadores, como estes aparecem descritos nos Panegíricos Latinos.
