Resumo: In 1900, the French philosopher Henri Berr founded the Revue de synthèse historique (RSH), which aimed to be the first journal focused on the Theory and Methodology of History in France. In this study, we aimed to quantitatively evaluate the participation of the durkheimian sociologists that were invited to publish in this journal between 1900 and 1914. We also sought to analyse the debate between these sociologists and Henri Berr over the relevance of the individual and the society in scientific research. The durkheimian presence in the RSH shows a more comprehensive involvement by occupying other scientific publishing spaces in search of institutional and intellectual positions of greater prominence in different fields, such as History. Neste artigo, buscamos avaliar quantitativamente a presença dos sociólogos durkheimianos convidados a publicar nesta revista no período entre 1900 e 1914 e analisar o debate que ocorreu entre eles e Henri Berr acerca do peso do social e do individual nas pesquisas científicas. A presença dos durkheimianos na RSH demonstra uma atuação mais abrangente ao ocupar outros espaços científicos editoriais, buscando defender e conquistar posições institucionais e intelectuais de maior destaque em diferentes áreas, como a da História.
