Resumo: | This article seeks to discuss the interface between Greimasian semiotics and Adaptive Technology, as proposed by Neto (2000). Silva’s (1972) communication scheme is presented as a starting point for rules allowing the automatic generation of dialogues based on the semiotic content. The automatic generation of dialogues involves many fields belonging to Languages and Linguistics. This fact is one of the biggest problems faced by those working in the automation of human-machine interactions. The scheme is appropriate for allowing a dynamic communication process in which the sender and the receiver are responsible for constant adjustments, making the system a strong candidate for an adaptive communication scheme. |
