CONTEXT OF THE HOSPITAL CLASSES IN BRAZIL: ANALYSIS OF THE DATA PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL CENSUS

Resumo:  the hospital class is considered an educational service of extreme importance for the student in health care. Considering this aspect, through the relevance of the Microdata of the School Census due to the wide range of information that may obtained by means of the manipulation of the constant data, it was consider important to work using this material. Thus, the present research aimed to describe the Service in Brazil based on the data provided by the School Census, as well as to verify how many public-targeted students of Special Education were serve by this service. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, a documentary survey was conduct based on data from the School Census provided by INEP (National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira) in the years of 2013 and 2015. The data showed many disparities between one year and another, especially to regard to the low number of hospital classes and special education target audience attended in the country, this study also pointed out the importance of changes in the organization of census data versus hospital class service.

Considerando tal aspecto, por meio da relevância dos Microdados do Censo Escolar devido à ampla gama de informações que podem ser obtidas por meio da manipulação dos dados constantes, julgou-se importante trabalhar utilizando esse material. Desse modo, a presente pesquisa objetivou descrever o serviço de classe hospitalar no Brasil com base nos dados disponibilizados pelo Censo Escolar, além de verificar quantos alunos público-alvo da Educação Especial foram atendidos por esse serviço. Para atingir os objetivos do estudo, foi realizada uma pesquisa documental com bases nos dados do Censo Escolar disponibilizados pelo INEP (Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira) nos anos de 2013 e 2015. Os dados demonstraram muitas disparidades entre um ano e o outro, principalmente no que se refere ao baixo número de turmas hospitalares e alunos público alvo da Educação Especial atendidos no país, ainda este estudo apontou a importância de alterações no modo de organização dos dados censitários frente ao serviço de classe hospitalar.
