TRAJECTORIES IN THE SCHOOLING OF TWO STUDENTS WITH VISUAL IMPAIRMENT

This study aimed to investigate the schooling process of two students with Visual Impairment (VI): one with blindness and the other with low vision, both graduates of the Technical Course in Agriculture at the Federal Institute of Ceará - Campus Crato do Estado do Ceará . To this end, we chose a qualitative research approach, taking as support the significant speeches of the researched subjects, in which their testimonies helped us to know (private/collaborative) educational experiences, from the period of the regular primary school and the specialized school to the high school. technique We conclude that this integrative perspective reflects the regular school anchored in a conception of disability as something intrinsic to the student with VI, in which he is subject to his characteristics and, for this reason, has its disadvantages in relation to the learning process that the school puts under their responsibility abstains from responsibility for the student's academic success or failure, as if the school inclusion process depended solely on him.
