New connections for rural development: Family Farming and the perspective of the Young Administrator

Resumo: | This work aims to analyse the relationship between the curricular proposal of the training course of the Federal University of Fronteira Sul (UFFS) Administration Course, Cerro Largo Campus, and the perspective of rural development perceived by the children of farmers graduated between 2014 and 2016 and graduating students in 2017/2. For this, participative research of qualitative and descriptive nature was chosen. To meet the objective proposed, an interview with a pre-established itinerary was used, with a sample of 18 people, in order to obtain information about the relationship between the curricular proposal of the course and the development of rural property. The application of the survey occurred in the second half of 2017. Among the results obtained, the analysed indexes of greater representativity refer to the workforce used in the property, which is mainly familiar, and the relative importance of the training course of the Administration Course. Finally, it is understood the great benefit that the Administration Course concentrates with the Rural Development and Agroindustrial Management training line, involving extensive discussions about the agricultural and agroindustrial reality, thus helping agricultural and agro-industrial development. |

Para ello, se optó por una investigación participativa de naturaleza cualitativa y descriptiva. Para atender al objetivo propuesto se utilizó una entrevista con un rutero preestablecido, aplicado a una muestra de 18 personas, a fin de obtener informaciones acerca de la relación entre la propuesta curricular del curso y el desarrollo de la propiedad rural. La aplicación de la investigación ocurrió en el segundo semestre de 2017. Entre los resultados obtenidos, los índices analizados de mayor representatividad se refieren a la mano de obra utilizada en la propiedad, que en gran parte es familiar, y a la relativa importancia de la línea de formación del Curso de Administración. Por último, se comprende el gran beneficio que concentra el Curso de Administración con la línea de formación Desarrollo Rural y Gestión Agroindustrial, involucrando discusiones amplias acerca de la realidad agropecuaria y agroindustrial, auxiliando de ese modo el desarrollo agrícola y agroindustrial.Este trabalho tem por objetivo analisar a relação entre a proposta curricular da linha de formação do Curso de Administração da Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul (UFFS), Campus Cerro Largo, e a perspectiva de desenvolvimento rural percebida pelos filhos de agricultores graduados entre 2014 e 2016 e os graduandos que se formaram bacharéis em 2017/2. Para isso, optou-se por uma pesquisa participativa de natureza qualitativa e descritiva. Para atender ao objetivo proposto utilizou-se de uma entrevista com um roteiro pré-estabelecido, aplicado junto a uma amostra de 18 pessoas, a fim de obter informações a respeito da relação entre a proposta curricular do curso e o desenvolvimento da propriedade rural. A aplicação da pesquisa ocorreu no segundo semestre de 2017. Entre os resultados obtidos, os índices analisados de maior representatividade se referem à mão de obra utilizada na propriedade, que em grande parte é familiar, e à relativa importância da linha de formação do Curso de Administração.
