Family Farming in Argentina: between the consensus, coercion, inclusion and subordination

Resumo: | The Southern Cone region has experienced an intense process of revitalization of the so-called Family Farming - AF since 2003. In particular, since 2008 Argentine's government has established several public policies, which in fact have made a major impact in this sector. In this paper, we analyze the appearance of AF as part of the construction processes of hegemony from an interdisciplinary theoretical framework. The work is part of an ongoing investigation into two different towns of Buenos Aires (Argentina). In addition, a similar study was done with a qualitative and empirical methodology to shed light on the relationships of power that are determine the characteristics of this particular territory. |

En Argentina desde 2003, pero más fuertemente desde el año 2008, se ejecutan políticas para el sector. En este trabajo analizaremos la aparición pública de la AF en la esfera estatal como parte de los procesos de construcción de hegemonía, desde un marco teórico interdisciplinario. El trabajo forma parte de una investigación realizada en dos partidos de la Provincia de Buenos Aires (Argentina).
