Resumo: The workforce of a health system is multidisciplinary, requiring interprofessional training and specific knowledge to work in the context of digital health, such as those about health terminologies. Thus, the study aimed to present the creation, implementation and evaluation process of a course on health terminologies focused on professionals working in the Brazilian Health System. For that, documentary research was developed associated with data obtained from an opinion poll. The health terminology course included the development of an e-book, video lessons and other teaching materials, being implemented via Moodle. Its first offer was held in 2022 and had the participation of 136 health professionals who, as a whole, stated that the course contributed to expanding their knowledge of health terminologies. Overall satisfaction with the course and with the didactic material was higher among participants over 31 years old. It is recommended that distance learning initiatives on the topic of health terminologies be developed, as well as a longitudinal follow-up of graduates to better understand the impact of the knowledge acquired in the daily lives of these professionals.

Faculdade de Filosofia e Ciências - UNESP-Marília2024-02-05info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdftext/htmlhttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/bjis/article/view/1503910.36311/1981-1640.2023.v17.e023061Brazilian Journal of Information Science: research trends; v. 17 (2023): Publicação contínua; e023061Brazilian Journal of Information Science: Research Trends; Vol. 17 (2023): Publicação contínua; e023061Brazilian Journal of Information Science: Research Trends; Vol. 17 (2023): Publicação contínua; e0230611981-16401981-1640reponame:Brazilian Journal of Information Scienceinstname:Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP)instacron:UNESPporhttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/bjis/article/view/15039/15914https://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/bjis/article/view/15039/15915Copyright (c) 2024 Maria Cristiane Barbosa Galvão, Silvana de Lima Vieira dos Santos, Renata Dutra Braga, Ivan Luiz Marques Ricarte, Thais Lucena de Oliveirahttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessGalvão, Maria Cristiane BarbosaSantos, Silvana de Lima Vieira dosBraga, Renata DutraRicarte, Ivan Luiz MarquesOliveira, Thais Lucena de2024-02-05T20:10:47Zoai:ojs.revistas.marilia.unesp.br:article/15039Revistahttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/bjis/indexPUBhttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/bjis/oaibrajis.marilia@unesp.br||1981-16401981-1640opendoar:2024-02-05T20:10:47Brazilian Journal of Information Science - Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP)false
