The perspectives for the international: 30 years after the end of the bipolar order

Resumo: It is with great pleasure that we continue our work and present to the reader another publication from Revista Aurora. The Dossier Section of this issue presents the intriguing theme “The perspectives for the International after 30 years of the end of the bipolar order”, which is structured around the following works: a) “Time and Capital: a brief ontology of modern social domination”, by Cíntia Medina (USP) and Adriano Parra (UFABC); b) “The Washington Consensus in Brazil – Conservative Stabilization and Stagnation”, by Vinícius Rezende Vaz (USP) and Edgard Monforte Merlo (USP); and c) “From Bretton Woods to the Exchange Band Regime: Analysis of the Exchange Rate in Brazil from 2009 to 2019”, by Emerson Braz (PUC-SP). The three texts discuss, from different perspectives, the political, social and economic changes and impacts that the world has experienced in the last 30 years, with the end of the “bipolar order” and the consolidation of capitalism in its current stage. In the Miscellaneous Section, the published articles cover various themes and reflections on different social phenomena in the Human Sciences, containing the following contributions: a) “In the footsteps of Bom-odori: Japanese socio-historical representations, Nikkey culture and Japanese-Brazilian society” , by Vitor Arraes (UNESP); and b) “On a claim for rights: the search for guarantees in the face of Althusserian damage”, by Felipe Leite (UFF). Finally, we have the Review by Marília Gabriella Machado (UNESP), with an analysis of the book by Marcos Del Roio: “Gramsci and the Emancipation of the Subaltern”. São Paulo: Editora UNESP, 2018, 258p.

La Sección Dossier de este número presenta el intrigante tema “Las perspectivas para la Internacional después de 30 años del fin del orden bipolar”, que se estructura en torno a las siguientes obras: a) “Tiempo y Capital: una breve ontología de la dominación social moderna ”, de Cíntia Medina (USP) y Adriano Parra (UFABC); b) “El Consenso de Washington en Brasil – Estabilización y estancamiento conservadores”, de Vinícius Rezende Vaz (USP) y Edgard Monforte Merlo (USP); y c) “De Bretton Woods al régimen de bandas cambiarias: análisis del tipo de cambio en Brasil de 2009 a 2019”, de Emerson Braz (PUC-SP). Los tres textos discuten, desde diferentes perspectivas, los cambios e impactos políticos, sociales y económicos que ha experimentado el mundo en los últimos 30 años, con el fin del “orden bipolar” y la consolidación del capitalismo en su etapa actual. En la Sección Miscelánea, los artículos publicados abarcan diversas temáticas y reflexiones sobre diferentes fenómenos sociales en las Ciencias Humanas, conteniendo las siguientes contribuciones: a) “Tras las huellas de Bom-odori: representaciones sociohistóricas japonesas, cultura nikkey y cultura japonés-brasileña”. sociedad”, de Vitor Arraes (UNESP); y b) “Sobre una reivindicación de derechos: la búsqueda de garantías frente al daño althusseriano”, de Felipe Leite (UFF). Finalmente, tenemos la Revista de Marília Gabriella Machado (UNESP), con un análisis del libro de Marcos Del Roio: “Gramsci y la emancipación del subalterno”. São Paulo: Editora UNESP, 2018, 258p.É com imenso prazer que damos sequência aos nossos trabalhos e apresentamos ao leitor mais uma publicação da Revista Aurora. A Seção Dossiê deste número apresenta a instigante temática “As perspectivas para o Internacional após 30 anos do fim da ordem bipolar”, que se estrutura a partir dos seguintes trabalhos: a) “Tempo e Capital: uma breve ontologia da moderna dominação social”, de Cíntia Medina (USP) e Adriano Parra (UFABC); b) “O Consenso de Washington no Brasil – Estabilização Conservadora e Estagnação”, de Vinícius Rezende Vaz (USP) e Edgard Monforte Merlo (USP); e c) “De Bretton Woods ao Regime de Bandas Cambiais: Análise da taxa de Câmbio no Brasil de 2009 a 2019”, de Emerson Braz (PUC-SP). Os três textos discutem, a partir de diferentes perspectivas, as mudanças e impactos políticos, sociais e econômicos que o mundo experienciou nos últimos 30 anos, findada a “ordem bipolar” e consolidado o capitalismo em seu estágio atual. Já na Seção Miscelânea, os artigos publicados contemplam variados temas e reflexões de diversos fenômenos sociais das Ciências Humanas, contento as seguintes contribuições: a) “Nos passos do Bom-odori: representações sócio-históricas japonesas, cultura nikkey e sociedade nipo-brasileira”, de Vitor Arraes (UNESP); e b) “Sobre uma reivindicação de direitos: a busca de garantias frente ao dano althusseriano”, de Felipe Leite (UFF).
