Epidemic and Education: student participation in in-process learning assessments at the state school of Campinas

Resumo: Currently, all schools in the state of São Paulo undergo external assessments, such as SARESP and AAPS. These assessments aim to provide an overview of the teaching-learning process and offer managers and teachers a database on students that allows them to develop more assertive techniques to achieve improved results. The objective of this work is to list possible reasons for the low participation in the 1st and 2nd assessments of learning in process (AAPs) of mathematics. The research was carried out with students from a state elementary school I and II (PEB I, PEB II), located in the city of Campinas\SP, made available by the Platform of the Center for Public Policies and Assessment of Education (CAED Platform). Three mathematics AAPs of the current year (1st, 2nd and 3rd bimesters of 2021) of elementary school students were analyzed, totaling 170 students. A questionnaire containing eight objective questions and a dissertation was also applied in order to understand the sociocultural scenario in which the students are inserted, as well as their real ability to monitor and carry out activities during the remote and hybrid teaching period. 113 students answered the questionnaire.

Estas evaluaciones tienen como objetivo brindar una visión general del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje y ofrecer a los directivos y docentes una base de datos sobre los estudiantes que les permita desarrollar técnicas más asertivas para lograr mejores resultados. El objetivo de este trabajo es enumerar las posibles razones de la baja participación en la 1ª y 2ª evaluación de aprendizaje en proceso (AAPs) de matemáticas. La investigación fue realizada con alumnos de una escuela primaria estatal I y II (PEB I, PEB II), ubicada en la ciudad de Campinas\SP, puesta a disposición por la Plataforma del Centro de Políticas Públicas y Evaluación de la Educación (Plataforma CAED ). Se analizaron tres AAP de matemáticas del año en curso (1°, 2° y 3° bimestre de 2021) de estudiantes de primaria, totalizando 170 estudiantes. También se aplicó un cuestionario que contiene ocho preguntas objetivas y una disertación para comprender el escenario sociocultural en el que se insertan los estudiantes, así como su capacidad real para monitorear y realizar actividades durante el período de enseñanza remota e híbrida. 113 estudiantes respondieron el cuestionario.Atualmente todas as escolas do estado de São Paulo passam por avaliações externas, como o SARESP e as AAPS. Estas a avaliações possuem como meta traçar um panorama do processo de ensino aprendizagem e oferecer aos gestores e professores uma base de dados sobre os alunos que permita a eles desenvolver técnicas mais assertivas para conseguir melhora nos resultados. O objetivo deste trabalho é elencar possíveis motivos para a baixa participação nas 1° e 2° avaliações de aprendizado em processo (AAPs) de matemática. A pesquisa foi realizada com os estudantes de uma escola estadual de ensino fundamental I e II (PEB I, PEB II), localizada na cidade de Campinas\SP, disponibilizadas pela Plataforma do Centro de Políticas Públicas e Avaliação da Educação (Plataforma CAED). Foram analisadas três AAPs de matemática do corrente ano (1°, 2° e 3° bimestres de 2021) dos estudantes do ensino fundamental II, totalizando 170 estudantes.
