EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE TO OVERCOME NEGATIVE ASPECTS OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC ON PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Resumo: | The objective was to understand the educational experience developed in a municipal public school, during the suspension of face-to-face classes due to Covid-19 pandemic, which made it possible to continue the teaching and learning process for students in situations of vulnerability. Action research, with a qualitative approach, was conducted in 2020 by a multidisciplinary pedagogical team in a public school of basic education in João Pessoa, capital of Paraíba, which fulfilled the following phases: an exploratory, survey of resolutive strategies, action, and evaluation. It is concluded that the multiple obstacles to continuing with the interrupted school year and implementing emergency remote teaching for students in a context of social vulnerability were mitigated by the collaborative actions of the pedagogical team, with the inclusion of students, family members and Legislative and Municipal Executive powers, even thus, school dropout was high, requiring comprehensive public policies on the problem, which considers the causes beyond the spatial limits of the school. |

Una investigación acción, con enfoque cualitativo, fue desarrollada en 2020 por un equipo pedagógico multidisciplinario en una escuela pública de educación básica en João Pessoa, Paraíba, que cumplió las siguientes fases: exploratoria, levantamiento de estrategias resolutivas, acción y evaluación. Se concluyó que los múltiples obstáculos para continuar con el ciclo escolar interrumpido e implementar la enseñanza a distancia de emergencia para los estudiantes en un contexto de vulnerabilidad social fueron mitigados por las acciones colaborativas del equipo pedagógico, con la inclusión de estudiantes, familiares y Poderes Legislativos y Ejecutivos Municipales. Todavíaasí, la deserción escolar fue alta, requiriendo políticas públicas integrales sobre el problema que consideren las causas, más allá de los límites espaciales de la escuela.Objetivou-se compreender a experiência educativa desenvolvida em uma escola pública municipal durante a suspensão das aulas presenciais devido à pandemia de Covid-19, que possibilitou dar prosseguimento ao processo de ensino e aprendizagem para alunos em situação de vulnerabilidade. Uma pesquisa-ação, de abordagem qualitativa, foi desenvolvida no ano de 2020 por uma equipe multidisciplinar pedagógica em uma escola pública da educação básica de João Pessoa, capital da Paraíba, que cumpriu as fases: exploratória, levantamento de estratégias resolutivas, ação e avaliação. Concluiu-se que os múltiplos percalços para prosseguir com o ano letivo interrompido e para implementar o ensino remoto emergencial para alunos em contexto de vulnerabilidade social foram minorados pelas ações colaborativas da equipe pedagógica, com inclusão de alunos, familiares e Poderes Legislativos e Executivo Municipal.
