Resumo: It starts from the idea of ​​cultural signifier and education as processes of formation of meanings in the 1980s, tracing in indelible lines, delicately woven to be open and not closed lines, on meanings of the 80s. background of ascending neoliberalism and its meanings marking the life of youth and their non-formal education: education of emotions, passions and affections; very important senses of youth positioning in existence and in social structures. Thus, culture imbricates ideology in a field of signs and its instrumentalization as power. Francis Ford Coppola's film The Outsiders (1983) is placed as a cultural signifier of the 1980s and traces elements specific to adolescence. In this constant densification of political, cultural and social issues (neoliberalism), the significance of the 1980s in the form of cultural elements in the form of education of the senses leads to some current conclusions of neoliberal helplessness.

Así, la cultura imbrica la ideología en un campo de signos y su instrumentalización como poder. La película de Francis Ford Coppola The Outsiders (1983) se sitúa como un significante cultural de la década de 1980 y rastrea elementos propios de la adolescencia. En esta constante densificación de las cuestiones políticas, culturales y sociales (neoliberalismo), la trascendencia de la década de 1980 en forma de elementos culturales en forma de educación de los sentidos lleva a algunas conclusiones actuales de desamparo neoliberal.Parte-se da ideia de significante cultural e educação como processos de formação de sentidos nos anos 1980 traçando em linhas indeléveis, tecidas delicadamente para serem linhas abertas e não fechadas, sobre significações da década de 80. Desenvolve o tema cultural contra pano de fundo do neoliberalismo ascendente e seus significados marcando a vida da juventude e sua educação não formal: educação das emoções, paixões e afetos; sentidos importantíssimos de posicionamento da juventude na existência e nas estruturas sociais. Assim imbrica cultura com ideologia em um campo de signos e sua instrumentalização como poder. Coloca-se o filme de Francis Ford Coppola, The outsiders (1983), como um significante cultural dos anos 1980 e traça elementos próprios à adolescência.
