THE USE OF (AUTO) BIOGRAPHY IN BRAZILIAN RESEARCH (2001 - 2010): THE CONSOLIDATION OF A METHODOLOGICAL TREND

Resumo: The objective of this research is to present a mapping of literature that allows giving visibility to the use that was made of the theoretical-methodological (auto) biography by Brazilian researchers in the period of 2001 - 2010. It seeks to show the movement that consolidated this resource as a methodological tendency in the mentioned period in the scope of the epistemological history produced in such time in Brazil, in the Human Sciences and in the Educational Field. This is a documentary research. The Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) database was used. The data indicate that the use of this methodological resource consolidated a methodological tendency within the scope of the epistemological history produced in Brazil at that time, encompassing the Human Sciences in general and the Educational field in particular. In this sense, in the decade in question, the anual average production was 74 estudies. Moreover, the data showed the nuclear institutional niches of the consolidation of the trend. Educational Field.El objetivo de esta investigación es presentar un mapeo/balance cuantitativo que permite dar visibilidad al uso que fue hecho del recurso teórico-metodológico (auto)biografía por investigadores brasileños en el período 2001-2010. De este modo, se pretende mostrar el movimiento que consolidó ese recurso como tendencia metodológica en el referido intervalo en el ámbito de la historia epistemológica producida en dicho periodo en Brasil, en las Ciencias Humanas en general y en el Campo Educativo en particular. Se trata de una investigación documental. Las fuentes fueron 742 investigaciones: 514 maestrías académicas y 228 doctorados. Se utilizó el Banco de datos de CAPES. Los datos apuntan que el uso del recurso metodológico referido consolidó una tendencia metodológica en el ámbito de la historia epistemológica producida en Brasil en tal tiempo, abarcando la Ciencias Humanas de modo general y el Campo Educacional en particular. En ese sentido, en la década en cuestión, el promedio anual de producción fue de 74 investigaciones. Del mismo modo, los datos evidenciaron los nichos institucionales nucleares de la consolidación de la tendencia. Palabras clave: (Auto)biografía. Producción. Ciencias Humanas. Busca-se, assim, mostrar o movimento que consolidou esse recurso como tendência metodológica no referido período no âmbito da história epistemológica produzida em tal tempo no Brasil, nas Ciências Humanas e no Campo Educacional. Trata-se de uma pesquisa documental. As fontes foram 742 pesquisas: 514 mestrados e 228 doutorados. Usou-se o Banco de dados da CAPES. Os dados apontam que o uso do referido recurso metodológico consolidou uma tendência metodológica no âmbito da história epistemológica produzida no Brasil em tal tempo, abarcando as Ciências Humanas de modo geral e o Campo Educacional em particular. Nesse sentido, na década em questão, a média anual de produção foi de 74 pesquisas. Outrossim, os dados evidenciaram os nichos institucionais nucleares da consolidação da tendência.
