Resumo: This article aims to evaluate the themes chosen by fourth-grade students of the Agricultural Family School of Cachoeiro de Itapemirim (Efaci) participating in the Professional Project of the Youth (PPJ) in 2016, as well as to analyze the methodology applied into two PPJs. Moreover, it also seeks to present students’ perception about environmental education (EE) within the school setting by means of a questionnaire applied to students from the first to the fourth grade of the secondary school integrated to the agricultural technical education in 2017. More than 55% of the PPJs themes dealt with EE, which was addressed by raising children’s awareness about the issue and by workshops with recycled materials. Questionnaire data revealed that students perceive how the school approach the theme of EE, and that the project promoted a change in students’ behavior towards the environment, thus corroborating with the pedagogical proposal of Efaci.

Además, analiza las percepciones sobre Educación Ambiental en el contexto escolar, obtenidas a través del estudio de caso, construido a partir de la aplicación de un cuestionario en la Escuela Agrícola Familiar de Cachoeiro de Itapemirim (Efaci) – ES, con los alumnos de 1º y 4° años de Bachillerato Integrado con Técnico Agrícola – 2017. Más del 55% de los temas elegidos para el PPJ abordaron la Educación Ambiental. La acción de dos PPJ analizados reveló que la sensibilización de los niños y el taller con materiales reciclados fueron instrumentos utilizados para abordar la Educación Ambiental en las comunidades de los alumnos. Los datos obtenidos de la aplicación del cuestionario revelaron que los alumnos de 1º y 4º años, 2017, se dan cuenta de cómo se desarrolla la Educación Ambiental en el contexto escolar. Además, hubo un cambio en el comportamiento de los estudiantes, en relación con el medio ambiente, luego de que comenzaron a asistir a la Efaci. Los resultados obtenidos corroboran la propuesta pedagógica de la Efaci.O presente artigo visa avaliar a temática escolhida pelos alunos da disciplina Projeto Profissional do Jovem (PPJ) do 4º ano da Escola Família Agrícola de Cachoeiro de Itapemirim (Efaci) do ano letivo de 2016, especialmente quanto ao interesse pelo tema da educação ambiental, e analisar a metodologia aplicada na ação desenvolvida em dois PPJ. Mais de 53% dos temas dos PPJ escolhidos abordava a educação ambiental. A ação de dois PPJ analisados revelou que a sensibilização das crianças e a oficina com materiais reciclados foram instrumentos utilizados para abordar a educação ambiental nas comunidades dos alunos. Além disso, este trabalho visa verificar as percepções dos estudantes sobre a educação ambiental no contexto escolar, obtidas através do estudo de caso construído a partir da aplicação de questionário na Efaci com os alunos do 1º e 4º anos do ensino médio integrado ao técnico agrícola (ano letivo de 2017). Os dados obtidos com aplicação do questionário revelaram que os alunos do 1º e 4º anos percebem como a educação ambiental é desenvolvida no contexto escolar. Além disso, houve mudança de comportamento dos alunos, com relação ao meio ambiente, depois que começaram a frequentar a Efaci.
