ECOLOGICAL KNOWLEDGE AND MOVEMENTS: EPISTEMOLOGICAL JUSTICE TO EDUCATE DEMOCRATICALLY

Resumo: The contradiction of wanting to understand the world from monologic positions in such pluralistic contemporary contexts is a recurring problem in different places and times, at present related with alliances generated between modern science and the capitalist system. This fact assumes major internal conflicts in most related disciplines to humanities. Such unilateral ways to address knowledge are, too often, reproduced in different scientific and educational environments, which implies to reproduce isolated and inefficient knowledge structures to understand the contemporary challenges. Through theoretical reflection on social and educational practices, and with the help of references as the "ecology of knowledge" and democratic education, the work aims to think about the need to open and strengthen multiple and interconnected reflection pathways, to meet procedural and ethical demands to know and educate democratically. Thereby, to build such a society and education is necessary the role of open, plural and networked knowledge structures, permanently interconnected, as well as the inclusion of different epistemological knowledge that enable us to understand and relate in a more just and democratic way to the different cultures and peoples of the world. Democracy.La contradicción de querer entender el mundo a partir de posiciones monológicas en los contextos plurales contemporáneos es un problema recurrente en diferentes lugares y momentos, actualmente relacionado con alianzas generadas entre la ciencia moderna y el sistema capitalista. Esto supone importantes conflictos internos en las disciplinas más relacionadas con las humanidades. Estas formas unilaterales de abordar los saberes son, con demasiada frecuencia, reproducidas en diferentes ambientes científicos y educacionales, lo que puede generar estructuras de conocimiento aisladas e ineficientes para entender los desafíos contemporáneos. A través de la reflexión teórica sobre prácticas sociales y educacionales, y con la ayuda de referenciales como la “ecología de los saberes” y la educación democrática, busca profundizar sobre la necesidad de abrir vías de reflexión múltiples e interconectadas, para atender las demandas procesuales y éticas para conocer y educar democráticamente. Así, para la construcción de este tipo de sociedad y educación, es necesario el protagonismo de estructuras de conocimiento en redes abiertas, plurales y permanentemente interrelacionadas, y también la inclusión epistemológica de diferentes saberes para entender y relacionarnos de un modo más justo y democrático con las diferentes culturas y pueblos del planeta. Essas formas unilaterais de abordar os saberes são, com demasiada frequência, reproduzidas em diferentes ambientes científicos e educacionais, o que pode gerar estruturas de conhecimento isoladas e ineficientes para entender os desafios contemporâneos. Através da reflexão teórica sobre práticas sociais e educacionais, e com a ajuda de referenciais como a “ecologia dos saberes” e a educação democrática, busca-se aprofundar sobre a necessidade de abrir vias de reflexão múltiplas e interconectadas, para atender às demandas processuais e éticas para conhecer e educar democraticamente. Assim, para a construção desse tipo de sociedade e educação, é necessário o protagonismo de estruturas de conhecimento em rede abertas, plurais e permanentemente interligadas, e também a inclusão epistemológica de diferentes saberes para entender e nos relacionar de um jeito mais justo e democrático com as diferentes culturas e povos do planeta.
