Affectivity and remote classes in pandemic times: the distance issues

Resumo: | This article presents a reflection on the affective dimension in the pedagogical work developed in remote education based on researches produced by the Grupo do Afeto (Leite, 2018). It is based on the theories of Wallon and Vygotsky, which compose the bases of the social interactionist model of knowledge production and point out the teaching-learning process by a mediating agent personified in the teacher’s figure. The vast majority of Brazilian schools as an alternative to attend on the prolongation of the pandemic – Covid-19, has used distance education. Analyzing the conditions offered in remote education from the contributions of these researches, one could infer that the distance in the teacher-student, student-student, student-institution relationship constitutes a condition that hinders, or even prevents, the establishment of positive affective relationships in subject-object relationship, constitutive of the knowledge construction process. |

Analizando las condiciones de la enseñanza a distancia a la luz de los aportes de estas investigaciones, se concluye que la distancia en la relación profesor-alumno, alumno-alumno, alumno-institución constituye una condición que dificulta e impide el establecimiento de relaciones afectivas positivas en la relación sujeto-objeto, constitutiva del proceso de construcción del conocimiento. Reforzamos la importancia del trabajo del docente, según el modelo teórico aquí presentado, reconociendo que ya no es posible desconocer el papel de la dimensión afectiva en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje.O presente artigo é um estudo teórico que tem, como ponto de partida, o modelo de ensino remoto adotado no Brasil como uma possível alternativa em virtude ao prolongamen-to da pandemia do novo coronavírus – Covid-19, pela grande maioria das escolas brasileiras, a partir do segundo trimestre de 2020. Realizamos, a partir de pesquisas produzidas pelo Grupo do Afeto (Leite, 2018), uma reflexão sobre as possibilidades da dimensão afetiva no trabalho pedagógico desenvolvido a distância. Analisando-se as condições de ensino remoto à luz das contribuições dessas pesquisas, concluímos que a distância na relação professor-aluno, aluno-aluno, aluno-instituição constitui uma condição que dificulta e impede o estabelecimento de relações afetivas positivas na relação sujeito-objeto, constitutivas do processo de construção do conhecimento.
