Resumo: This article analyses the technical production of femininity in the films of Almodovar through the elaboration of a "feminine universe" that led to his fame as a "director of women". It proposes a reflection on the symbolic universe and discursive formulations that can both resignify subjectivities and bring to light some canons or resonances of these discourses. It is argued that these narratives, as a counter-discourse, fall back on hegemonic visual standards and reveal, although implicitly, the notion of sexual inequality on which they are based.

Propone una reflexión sobre el universo simbólico y formulaciones discursivas que pueden tanto replantear subjetividades como sacar a la luz algunos cánones o resonancias de estos discursos. Se argumenta que estas narrativas, como contra-discurso, recaen en patrones visuales hegemónicos y revelan, aunque implícitamente, la noción de desigualdad sexual en la que se basan.Este artigo analisa a produção técnica da feminilidade empreendida pelo cinema de Almodóvar a partir da elaboração de um “universo feminino” que lhe rendeu a fama de “diretor de mulheres”. Propõe-se uma reflexão sobre o universo simbólico e as formulações discursivas que podem tanto ressignificar subjetividades, como trazer à tona alguns cânones ou ressonâncias desses discursos.
