Resumo: This article aims to analyze how the manual LEIS – Lima Ecological Infrastructure Strategy proposes the articulation of wastewater treatment with the design of public open spaces in Lima - Peru. The manual presents possibilities for water-sensitive projects, through the concept of Ecological Infrastructure. A qualitative analysis methodology is adopted, and the research is focused on bibliographic review and consultation of pertinent legislation. Throughout the text, we seek to relate the proposals and guidelines present in the manual with the management of urban water in Salvador [state of Bahia]. In order to reflect on contributions and challenges, in a perspective of greater integration between projects sensitive to water and urbanized space.

El manual presenta posibilidades para proyectos sensibles al agua, a través del concepto de Infraestructura Ecológica. Se adopta una metodología de análisis cualitativo y la investigación se centra en la revisión bibliográfica y la consulta de la legislación pertinente. A lo largo del texto, buscamos relacionar las propuestas y lineamientos presentes en el manual con la gestión del agua urbana en Salvador-Bahía. Para reflexionar sobre aportes y retos, en una perspectiva de mayor integración entre proyectos sensibles al agua y el espacio urbanizado.O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar como o manual LEIS – Lima Ecological Infrastructure Strategy propõe a articulação do tratamento de águas residuais com o projeto dos espaços livres públicos em Lima [Peru]. O manual apresenta possibilidades de projetos sensíveis a água, através do conceito de Infraestrutura Ecológica. Adota-se uma metodologia de análise qualitativa, e a pesquisa é focada na revisão bibliográfica e consulta de legislações pertinentes.  Busca-se ao longo do texto relacionar as propostas e diretrizes presentes no manual com a gestão das águas urbanas em Salvador [Bahia].
