Resumo: The scope of this article is the phenomenon of the informal commerce sellers, known as zungueiras, and the consolidation of informal neighborhoods in the urban space of Luanda, Angola, as two aspects of socio-spatial segregation. It seeks to understand the urban dynamics that resulted in the process of constitution of the musseques and their territorial transformations over time and the segregation of zungueiras, both as suppression of the right to the city, through aspects of the trajectory that the country has followed from the colonial period to the present days. Understanding that the city is a field of constant socio-territorial disputes and conflicts, references are made to the concepts of lower circuit and southern epistemologies, in order to find gaps for understanding the possibilities of autonomy and emancipation.

Busca comprender las dinámicas urbanas que resultaron en el proceso de constitución de los musseques y sus transformaciones territoriales a lo largo del tiempo y la segregación de las zungueiras, ambas como supresión del derecho a la ciudad, a través de aspectos de la trayectoria que atravesó el país desde la época colonial hasta la actualidad. Entendiendo que la ciudad es un campo de constantes disputas y conflictos socioterritoriales, se hacen referencias a los conceptos de circuito inferior y las epistemologías del sur, en el sentido de encontrar vacíos para la comprensión de posibilidades de autonomía y emancipación.Este artigo tem como escopo o fenômeno das vendedoras do comércio informal, conhecidas como zungueiras, e  a consolidação de bairros informais no espaço urbano da cidade Luanda, Angola, como dois aspectos da segregação socioespacial. Busca-se entender as dinâmicas urbanas que resultaram no processo de constituição dos musseques e suas transformações territoriais ao longo do tempo e da segregação das zungueiras, ambos como supressão do direito à cidade, mediante aspectos da trajetória que o país percorreu desde o período colonial até a atualidade.
