Resumo: During the thirties in the province of Mendoza, companies installed extractive industries developed strategies for creating neighborhoods of workers by industrial plants. Both state and private owners generated villages in the vicinity of the joint where cement or oil was produced. There paternalistic policies applied to consolidate the workforce who lived near the factories and distilleries. After six decades of uninterrupted work in the province, the cement industry and the oil changes were a result of globalization in the world economy, neoliberalism and the end of industrial paternalism, both private and state nature. This article looks at the evolution of the sets from the beginning to the end of the model.

Universidade Estadual de Campinas2014-12-28info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionAnálise descritivaapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.sbu.unicamp.br/ojs/index.php/labore/article/view/19510.20396/lobore.v8i4.195Labor e Engenho; Vol. 8 No. 4 (2014): out./dez.; 17-34Labor e Engenho; Vol. 8 Núm. 4 (2014): out./dez.; 17-34Labor e Engenho; v. 8 n. 4 (2014): out./dez.; 17-342176-8846reponame:Labor & Engenho (Online)instname:Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP)instacron:UNICAMPspahttps://periodicos.sbu.unicamp.br/ojs/index.php/labore/article/view/195/pdf_15BrasilCopyright (c) 2015 Labor & Engenhoinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessMoretti, Graciela2019-07-27T05:46:32Zoai:ojs.periodicos.sbu.unicamp.br:article/195Revistahttp://periodicos.sbu.unicamp.br/ojs/index.php/laborePUBhttps://periodicos.sbu.unicamp.br/ojs/index.php/labore/oai||argollo@fec.unicamp.br2176-88461981-1152opendoar:2019-07-27T05:46:32Labor & Engenho (Online) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP)false
