Environmental Education and the smallholding: a perspective on sustainable agriculture for peasant women

Resumo: | This article presents a brief reflection about education taking into account rural women in a context of sustainable development, we bring some considerations about Brazilian education, rural education and environmental education, aiming to absorb a critical awareness of the peasant women. rights as a citizenand her duties as an agent of production, instilling in this woman a concern for an economically viable and ecologically sustainable production that allows her to live in the countryside and in the countryside in harmony with biodiversity. Violence is the greatest challenge faced by women in rural activities. Theproblem of environmental degradation [irst affects children, who will be born today, who will inherit the land in the future, and their future is in our hands. Women produce 60 to 80 percent of food in most developing countries and account for half of world food production. However, only recently has their keyrole as producers and food suppliers and their vital contribution to household food security been given the attention they deserve. |

However, only recently has their keyrole as producers and food suppliers and their vital contribution to household food security been given the attention they deserve.Este artigo traz uma breve reflexão sobre a educação levando em conta a mulher do campo num contexto de desenvolvimento sustentável, trazemos algumas considerações sobre a educação brasileira, a educação do campo e a educação ambiental objetivando absorver da mulher campesina uma consciência crítica de seus direitos como cidadã e de seus deveres como agente de produção, incutindo nesta mulher uma preocupação com uma produção economicamente viável e ecologicamente sustentável que lhe permitaviver no campo e do campo em harmonia com a biodiversidade. A violência constitui-se o maior desafio enfrentado pela mulher nas atividades campesinas. O problema da degradação ambiental afeta primeiro as crianças, que nascerão hoje, que futuramente herdarão a terra e seu futuro está em nossas mãos. Asmulheres produzem 60 a 80% dos alimentos na maioria dos países em desenvolvimento e respondem por metade da produção mundial de alimentos.
