Communication between the authors and the Federal Institute through the Fala.br platform: a study on school feeding

Introduction and objective: With the aim of offering a more fruitful dialogue between the manager and Fala.br, and favoring communication and planning on the part of IFSP managers, a communication process was analyzed between the researcher, who is the IFSP manager, with Fala.br, taking school meals as a scenario in 2020 and 2021, during emergency remote teaching caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.Methods: An exploratory qualitative research was carried out, in which the study was based on a narrative and documentary review of the literature associated with school feeding, using questions prepared from accountability documents issued by the Federal Institute to submit the questions to managers on the Fala platform .br . To process the information, Free Interpretation Analysis-ALI was used.Results and discussion: The communication made was analyzed, through a table of potentialities and weaknesses between the parties, relevant data was obtained in relation to compliance with the public policy of the National School Feeding Program (PNAE), such as assistance with purchases from family farming and to the use of the budget in its entirety, among other notes found, it was also observed that managers still find it difficult to prepare adequate responses to Fala.br's demands, with regard to access to information. Conclusion: It can be inferred that the IFSP was successful in meeting the demand for school meals during the Pandemic, and that the communication process with Fala.br, researchers and society can be further improved.
