Corpo, gestos e expressão: notas sobre uma ontologia sensível em Merleau-Ponty

Os gestos do pintor nos retiram da paisagem comum. A disposição dos objetos, dos lugares, das cores, os contornos que compõem o quadro nos dão a ver e a pensar. O olho é aquilo que foi sensibilizado por um certo impacto do mundo, assim como a visão e o ato de ver amplificam a metafísica da carne, convocam a filosofia de Merleau-Ponty de uma fenomenologia para uma ontologia do ser bruto. Esse texto contém uma reflexão sobre corpo e estética no pensamento de Merleau-Ponty, considerando-se, sobremaneira, o ensaio A dúvida de Cézanne. Na construção dos argumentos, outras obras do filósofo são consideradas, com citações de algumas passagens que examinam questões e possibilidades para pensar o conhecimento da arte, da filosofia e, em sentido mais geral, como possibilidade para pensar a existência, a contingência e a liberdade do corpo.Abstract: The gestures of a painter take us away from the common view. The arrangement of objects, places, the colors, and the contours that make up a picture lead us to see and think. An eye is something that has been touched by a certain impact in the world, just as vision and sight amplify the metaphysics of the flesh and call Merleau-Ponty’s philosophy from a phenomenology to an ontology of the gross human being. This text contains a reflection on the body and aesthetics in Merleau-Ponty’s thought, considering, particularly, the essay Le Doute de Cézanne. The construction of arguments includes other works of the philosopher, with quotes from some passages that examine issues and possibilities of thinking about the knowledge of art, philosophy, and in more general terms, as a possibility of reflecting over existence, the contingency and freedom the body.
