Pedagogical models in distance education: pedagogy, content and technologies

Resumo: The research that culminated in this article has as its main objective to discuss and to build models of subjects to offer in Distance Education (DE) based on the areas of knowledge. The theoretical framework for this was the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK), which considers that, for the application of a pedagogical practice with the use of technologies, there must be its interaction with the content to be worked, with the knowledge socio-educational (pedagogy) and the environment in which the practice takes place. Methodologically, this research is characterized as qualitative and quantitative, with a human-centered approach and with the following data collection procedures: documentary research, questionnaires and focus groups. The discussion raised by this research goes through these themes, highlighting the importance of thinking about the use of technologies allied to educational methodologies and considering the lived context, which includes the modality of offering a particular course. As a result, three models were created for offering courses in distance education, considering the areas of knowledge offered at the institution, in order to contribute to a discussion on the use of technologies allied to teaching and learning methodologies. With the dissemination of the results obtained in this research, it is also expected to strengthen the possibilities of offering quality education in that modality.

El marco teórico para ello fue el Conocimiento Tecnológico Pedagógico del Contenido (TPACK), que considera que, para la aplicación de una práctica pedagógica con uso de tecnologías, debe existir su interacción con el contenido a trabajar, con el conocimiento socioeducativo. (pedagogía) y el entorno en el que se desarrolla la práctica. Metodológicamente, esta investigación se caracteriza como cualitativa y cuantitativa, con un enfoque centrado en el ser humano con los siguientes procedimientos de recolección de datos: investigación documental, grupos focales de cuestionarios. La discusión suscitada por esta investigación pasa por estos temas, destacando la importancia de pensar en el uso de tecnologías aliadas a las metodologías educativas y considerando el contexto vivido, que incluye la modalidad de oferta de un determinado curso. Como resultado, se crearon tres modelos de oferta de cursos de educación a distancia, considerando las áreas de conocimiento que se ofrecen en la institución, con el fin de contribuir a la discusión sobre el uso de tecnologías aliadas a las metodologías de enseñanza y aprendizaje. Con la difusión de los resultados obtenidos en esta investigación, también se espera fortalecer las posibilidades de ofrecer una educación de calidad en esa modalidad.A pesquisa que culminou neste artigo tem como objetivo principal discutir e construir modelos de disciplinas para oferta em Educação a Distância (EaD) baseados nas áreas do conhecimento. O referencial teórico base para tal foi o framework TPACK (Conhecimento Tecnológico Pedagógico do Conteúdo), que considera que, para a aplicação de uma prática pedagógica com o uso de tecnologias, deve haver a sua interação com os conteúdos a serem trabalhados, com os conhecimentos socio-educacionais (a pedagogia) e o ambiente em que a prática se desenvolve. Metodologicamente, caracteriza-se esta pesquisa como qualiquantitativa, de abordagem centrada no ser humano e com os seguintes procedimentos de coleta de dados: pesquisa documental, questionários e grupos focais. A discussão levantada por esta pesquisa passa por esses temas, destacando a importância de pensar no uso de tecnologias aliados às metodologias educacionais e considerando o contexto vivenciado, em que se inclui a modalidade de oferta de um determinado curso. Como resultados foram criados três modelos para ofertas de disciplinas em EaD, considerando as áreas de conhecimentos ofertadas na instituição, de modo a contribuir para uma discussão sobre o uso de tecnologias aliadas às metodologias de ensino e de aprendizagem.
