Resumo: This article aims to present a recent overview – between 2018 to 2022- of what has been studied related to the subject of daylighting in buildings in Brazil, categorizing them in the thematic areas of (I) Metrics, (II) Case studies, (III) Innovative technologies and materials, (IV) Parametric modeling and potentialities. In this way, we carry out a systematic literature review (RSL) of the last five years, having identified 113 papers published in journals indexed to CAPES and Scielo platforms and in ENCACs and ENTACs conferences of this period. The variety of approaches, methods and results indicates that daylighting still has ample possibilities for study and research. It is noteworthy that the regulations on the subject are under review. It is observed that there is still room for improvement, as there were differences between methods applied in research and standardized methods of analysis. Applied legislation contributes a lot to the luminous performance achieved for most buildings, and user opinion has been a recurrent theme in seeking to understand it as a design factor. The possibilities allowed by computational tools and methods, which are also recurrent themes, point to opportunities for the study, analysis and application of daylighting in buildings. Based on this survey, suggestions for topics to be explored in future work are also proposed.
