Resumo: The aim of this paper is to present, though textualization and testimonials category, twointerviews, historical, granted by Math Teacher Manoel Jairo Bezerra, who passed away on March 11,2010. The first testimony is a message to teaching school candidates, probably recorded in 1963. Thesecond is an interview granted to the television program entitled Sem censura. It was broadcast at the endof the 1980s or beginning of the 1990s and. Jairo opines broadly on education as well as the ModernMath Movement. He also comments on some facts from his personal and professional life. Theseregistries are part of the results from a study of the life and works of Manoel Jairo Bezerra, using theusual Oral History procedures.

A primeira diz respeito a um recado às candidatas a normalistas, gravado provavelmente no ano de 1963. A segunda foi concedida ao programa televisivo Sem censura, cuja veiculação ocorreu no final da década de 1980 ou início de 1990: Jairo opina sobre o ensino de forma ampla, bem como sobre o Movimento da Matemática Moderna; ainda comenta alguns fatos de sua vida pessoal e profissional.
