Resumo: The International Labor Organization -OIT- publishes in the year 2021 the report: Social and employment perspectives in the world. The role of digital platforms in the transformation of the world of work, based on the affirmation of change in the world of work as a result of the influence of platforms, within the framework of digital economies, a situation accelerated and consolidated by the pandemic of COVID-19; This report allows a reading of the unequal global distribution of investment, income and types of employment, implied by digital platforms, where Latin America, although it presents a great welcome to the implementation of worked by platforms, does not retain the greatest benefits of these.

Evidentemente, la crisis económica internacional desencadenada por la pandemia de COVID-19 ha acelerado los cambios en curso. Esta reseña pretende reforzar el debate sobre el avance de la precarización laboral provocada por la falta de regulación pública efectiva de las plataformas digitales, especialmente en América Latina.L'Organisation internationale du travail (OIT) a consacré son récent rapport sur les tendances du travail dans le monde contemporain à un sujet controversé : le rôle des plateformes numériques dans la création d'opportunités d'emploi et la reconfiguration des relations de travail. De toute évidence, la crise économique internationale provoquée par la pandémie de COVID-19 a accéléré les changements en cours. Ce texte vise à renforcer le débat sur l'avancée de la précarisation du travail causée par l'absence de réglementation publique efficace des plateformes numériques, notamment en Amérique Latine.A Organização Internacional do Trabalho (OIT) dedicou o seu recente relatório sobre as tendências do trabalho no mundo contemporâneo a um tema polêmico: o papel das plataformas digitais na criação de oportunidades de empregos e na reconfiguração das relações de trabalho. Evidentemente, a crise econômica internacional provocada pela pandemia da COVID-19 acelerou as mudanças em curso.
