The (in) constancy of the provisional: 20 days of interim government in the media

Resumo: On May 12, 2016, Brazil woke up with the hangover of the imminence of the realization of the removal of President-elect Dilma Rousseff, after the opening of an impeachment process, which in a few days materialized as a parliamentary-judicial coup d'état in process. Interim President Michel Temer began, in the first week of his mandate, to dismantle the social policies achieved mainly since the 1988 Constitution, over almost 30 years of the short democratic period in Brazil. In order to contribute to the research agenda on the consequences of the ongoing coup in the country, this article presents some initial analyzes of a survey of news published in the online media in May 2016, regarding the first government measures, then, Michel Temer's interim. In particular, we seek to analyze how different virtual communication vehicles disseminated the first actions of this government.

El presidente interino Michel Temer comenzó, en la primera semana de su mandato, a desmantelar las políticas sociales logradas principalmente desde la Constitución de 1988, durante casi 30 años del corto período democrático en Brasil. Con el fin de contribuir a la agenda de investigación sobre las consecuencias del golpe de Estado en curso en el país, este artículo presenta algunos análisis iniciales de una encuesta de noticias publicada en los medios de comunicación en línea en mayo de 2016, sobre las primeras medidas del gobierno, luego, Interino de Michel Temer. En particular, buscamos analizar cómo diferentes vehículos de comunicación virtual difundieron las primeras acciones de este gobierno.No dia 12 de maio de 2016, o Brasil acordou com a ressaca da iminência da concretização do afastamento da presidenta eleita Dilma Rousseff, a partir da abertura de um processo de impeachment, que em poucos dias se materializou como um golpe de Estado parlamentar-judicial em processo. O presidente interino Michel Temer deu início, logo na primeira semana do seu mandato, ao desmonte das políticas sociais conquistadas principalmente desde a Constituição de 1988, ao longo de quase 30 anos do curto período democrático brasileiro. Na intenção de contribuir com a agenda de pesquisa acerca das consequências do golpe em curso no país, este artigo apresenta algumas análises iniciais de um levantamento de notícias publicadas na mídia onlineno mês de maio de 2016, a respeito das primeiras medidas do governo, então, interino de Michel Temer.
