Resumo: In Brazil an actual discussion refers to the ossibilities of the effective construction of the democracy in the Brazilian society, in which is possible the active political participation of the citizens, not just in what concerns to the incorporation to the political system in its strict sense, but to its effective participation through public spaces of representation and negotiation. Hannah Arednt's work is retaked in this article because she works with subjects that make her current in the discussions about democracy deepening in Brazil, when she elaborates a theory of the politics including the need of public spaces creation, mediated by the law as a parameter.

El trabajo de Hannah Arendt se retoma en este artículo porque esta autora aborda temas que son actuales en estas discusiones sobre la profundización de la democracia en Brasil, al elaborar una teoría política que incluye como parámetro la necesidad de construir espacios públicos de participación mediados por la ley.Uma discussão bastante presente atualmente se refere às possibilidades da construção efetiva da democracia na sociedade brasileira, na qual seja possível a participação política ativa dos cidadãos, não no que diz respeito apenas à sua incorporação no sistema político no sentido estrito, mas sim a participação efetiva através de arenas públicas de representação e negociação.
