The documentary Brasília, contradições de uma cidade nova (1967), of Joaquim Pedro de Andrade, was supported by Olivetti. However, the film was not by according to the military gouvernment ideas. It was a kind of description of the social crises in the capital of Brazil. Brasilia was designed to be a project able of evanescing all social levels, and also capable of engaging the country at the progressive standard of the 1960s. Even so, the film is about a new city whose plan is habile to concentrate all the existing social contradictions, mainly the migration of the northeast. That people was relegated to the peripheral neibourhood of city. All these paroxysms are associated to the disassembly of Brazilian education, through a paralysis of the University of Brasilia, as a microcosm of the Brazilian educational system. It is an exemple of the social chaos of the country in all its sociais spheres.
