Resumo: | The present article aims to analyze the construction of an image of the city through the photobook Paranoia, by Roberto Piva and Wesley Duke Lee. The study articulates questions inherent to the object, the affinity with the surrealist production of representation, the question of objective chance and the search for the Marvelous, as well as the articulation between the photographic image and poetry, a question of great importance in Paranoia. The analysis is presented through the signifying unit of the poem Visão de São Paulo à noite, Poema Antropófago sob Narcótico and shows a particular view of the city, built through experience and with interdependence between photography and poetry. |
