When polysemy insists on registering: an analysis of the transsexual body-and-subject

Resumo: This text is related to some paths raised in an ongoing doctoral research, aimed at the “elderly person” in a street situation, understood as a legal subject (FRANÇA, 2021), in the socio-assistance agenda of São Paulo. In  seeking to approach transits and social trajectories through the realization of an ethnography, Estação Sentinela, a special shelter for the elderly, was a key place (FRANÇA, 2010). The ethnography that witnessed ambivalences about care and control and institutions and the course of life in public policies generated largely by the Municipal Secretariat for Assistance and Social Development (SMADS), coeval with the dialogue shared with those who had access to such policies, fostered observation in other sources, such as journalistic and historical sources, in addition to those limited to the fields of art and representation.

Para tanto, fundamentam esta pesquisa os estudos de Pêcheux (1975; 1995) e Orlandi (2012; 2014), ao compreenderem corpo e sujeito enquanto materialidades discursivas. O recorte de análise é constituído por imagens da cantora e atriz Liniker, trechos da entrevista concedida à TV Trip, e, ainda, seu discurso proferido diante da premiação no Grammy Latino.
