Resumo: The word resistance, when consulted in the dictionary, leads us to the following definition: the ability of a body to react to the action of another body. What are the intensities and how many times a body is able to respond to a contrary movement, determine the resistance, which also leads us to durability, to the characteristic force, generally positive when applied to an object, a person, a group of people .

A partir de um olhar direcionado às muitas farmácias presentes em Recife, o conjunto aborda questões relativas ao efêmero e ao duradouro na paisagem e vivência urbanas. Como lojas que se proliferam e com uma vida muitas vezes fugaz, as farmácias são a síntese de uma cidade que coloca à margem outras cidades possíveis. Dessa maneira, algumas questões norteiam o trabalho: qual o lugar da memória na cidade? Como se constrói essa memória? Qual a relação entre o espaço edificado e a construção da memória? Quanta violência há em uma construção?
