Resumo: The aim of this paper is to present an interdisciplinary action of extension, focused on the activation of an underutilized public space through a collaborative game. The 2nd Temporary Intervention Workshop was made by a partnership between institutions related to the fields of architecture, urbanism, design and art/education and was composed of lectures, on-site immersions, co-creation activities and collective discussions. Bringing together students from different levels, courses and universities, the workshop conceived, produced and collectively built the temporary intervention Casa da Mãe Santana, a one-day placemaking action aiming at the activation of Campo de Santana, a park that, despite the great historical and cultural relevance to the city, is underused by the population today.
