The rewriting procedure in editorial texts of ENEM / 2016

This work, as a result of the qualification outside the area of the Graduate Program in Linguistics of UNEMAT, aims, from the perspective of the Semantics of the Event, to analyze the procedure of rewriting in the clippings of redactional texts produced by ENEM/2016 candidates, whose theme was “Ways to combat religious intolerance in Brazil”. From Guimarães (2002, 2004 and 2005) we analyze how this procedure constructs meanings for the text, producing a new temporalization, and projecting, from the arguments, possible ways and interventions to combat religious intolerance in the country. All of this made us observe that, by enunciating, each candidate-speaker speaks of a social place that authorizes them to say in one way or another, affected by the memorable that their saying summons; this is the effect of the incessant rewriting of language.
