Ennuciative reading method: a dialogue between linguistics and teaching

Resumo: The present study takes as a reflection proposal the reality of Brazilian Basic Education which reveals, according to statistics from the International Student Assessment Program (PISA) - 2018, considerable problems in relation to students' reading competence. Considering the Semantic-Enunciative theoretical perspective of Guimarães (2002, 2018), it proposes the Enunciative Reading Method (MEL) as a multidisciplinary pedagogy for the development of competences that concretely enable reading skills in any areas of knowledge. This device refers to the practice of reading texts that circulate in the social spheres of these students - whose theme is the approach to Culture and Regional/Local History of the counties - and to analysis procedures from an enunciative perspective.
