Andrés Bello and its time: considerations on life and work

Resumo: Being a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language (E / LE), in the Brazilian context, requires, among other things, to know different thoughts, theories, productions in that language, in order to better perform the function. In this sense, from the perspective of the History of Linguistic Ideas, it is that I propose as the theme of this article the figure of Andrés Bello and his work, making considerations about the texts produced and published about Spanish in the 19th century, mainly in the field of linguistic studies and grammatical. The objective is to reflect on the importance of the author's linguistic ideas and his contribution to the process of grammatizing Spanish in / in Hispanic America, in the context of the production of linguistic knowledge, as well as on the role of that language in the transformation and consolidation of the colonies. in independent nations.

En ese sentido, desde la perspectiva de la Historia de las Ideas Lingüísticas, es que propongo como tema de este artículo la figura de Andrés Bello y su obra, haciendo consideraciones acerca de la vida y de los textos producidos y publicados sobre el español en el siglo XIX, principalmente en el campo de los estudios lingüísticos y gramaticales. El objetivo es reflexionar acerca de la importancia de las ideas lingüísticas del autor y su contribución para el proceso de gramatización del español na/da América Hispánica, en el ámbito de la producción de conocimiento lingüístico, así como sobre el rol de esa lengua en la transformación y en la consolidación de las colonias en naciones independientes.Ser professora de espanhol como língua estrangeira (E/LE), no contexto brasileiro, exige, entre outras coisas, conhecer diferentes pensamentos, teorias, produções nessa língua, a fim de melhor desempenhar a função. Nesse sentido, desde a perspectiva da História das Ideias Linguísticas, é que proponho como tema deste artigo a figura de Andrés Bello e sua obra, fazendo considerações sobre os textos produzidos e publicados sobre o espanhol no século XIX, principalmente no campo dos estudos linguísticos e gramaticais.
