Resumo: As part of the Dossier “Amazonia after the European invasions – Stories told by Material Culture,” whose intention is to present the most recent studies of Historical Archaeology in the region and discuss new ways of telling these from material culture, we offer the interview with Professor Renata de Godoy, current coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Anthropology at the Federal University of Pará – PPGA/UFPA. The PPGA proposes formation in three fields of Anthropology, Archaeology being one of these. The interview with Professor Godoy gives us a little overview of how the formation of archaeological researchers in this program continues and the studies of material culture from an archaeologist's perspective committed to research and education.

Renata de Godoy, actual coordinadora del Programa de Posgrado en Antropología de la Universidad Federal de Pará – PPGA/UFPA. El PPGA propone la formación en tres campos de la Antropología, siendo la Arqueología uno de ellos. La entrevista con profesora Renata de Godoy nos da un pequeño panorama de cómo sigue la formación de investigadores y investigadoras arqueólogas en este programa y los estudios de la cultura material desde la perspectiva de una arqueóloga comprometida con la investigación y la educación.Como parte do O Dossiê “Amazônia após as invasões europeias – Histórias contadas pela cultura material”, cujo intento é apresentar os mais recentes estudos de Arqueologia Histórica na região e discutir novas formas de contar estas a partir da cultura material, apresentamos a entrevista com a Profa. Dra. Renata de Godoy, atual coordenadora do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Antropologia da Universidade Federal do Pará – PPGA/UFPA. O PPGA propõe uma formação em três campos da Antropologia, sendo a Arqueologia um destes.
