The impasses of bioarcheology : sexual dimorphism under a transfeminist critique

Resumo: This article problematize in a critical view, how archaeology, in particular, the bioarchaeology treats the archaeology record, like humans remnants of biological origin in a binary way, based in a cis-heteronormativity perspective about the human body, and then it had legitimized all the gender apartheid in the Latin America. The objective of this article is show how the sexual dimorphism is artificial and potencially dangerous, when it cross from the human past interpretation up until to the present, where transgender and intersexual people are opressed and invisible for a pretentios and copulsory sexual dimorphism. The methodology applied to this article was the bibliographi and theory review.

El objetivo de este artículo es mostrar cómo el dimorfismo sexual es artificial y potencialmente peligroso, cuando cruza de la interpretación del pasado humano al presente, donde las personas trans e intersex son oprimidas e invisibilizadas por un dimorfismo sexual pretencioso y compulsivo. La metodología aplicada fue la revisión bibliográfica y teóricaEste artigo problematiza de forma crítica como a arqueologia, em especial, a bioarqueologia trata o material arqueológico, como remanesce humanos de origem biológica de forma binária, sob uma perspectiva cis-heteronormativa sobre corpos humanos, e assim legitimando todo o Apartheid de gênero existente na América Latina. O objetivo desse artigo, é mostrar como o dimorfismo sexual é artificial e potencialmente perigoso, quando atravessa desde a intepretação do passado humano até o presente, onde as pessoas trans e intersexo são oprimidas e invisibilizadas em função de um dimorfismo sexual pretensioso e compulsório.
