Resumo: In such difficult times it is crucial to find spaces that allow life to pulsate. The term coming from psychoanalysis is generic, we know, controversial, for sure, but there is something about it that can beckon us for the present and for the future. Amid so many speeches of hatred, death and misery, we must find some sense for tomorrow. These meanings are both in guaranteeing our basic rights, such as education, health, food, decent housing, among others foreseen in our Constitution of 1988, but they can also be invented in our research, in our classrooms, in the arts, in the share common sense with a community, among countless other possibilities. The drive for life can be fueled by our desire to build the present and the better future (and for us, the authors of this Editorial, the best means fairer, more egalitarian and inclusive for all).

El término que proviene del psicoanálisis es genérico, lo sabemos, controvertido, sin duda, pero hay algo al respecto que puede llamarnos para el presente y el futuro. En medio de tantos discursos de odio, muerte y miseria, debemos encontrar algo de sentido para mañana. Estos significados son para garantizar nuestros derechos básicos, como educación, salud, alimentación, vivienda digna, entre otros previstos en nuestra Constitución de 1988, pero también pueden inventarse en nuestra investigación, en nuestras aulas, en las artes, en el compartir el sentido común con una comunidad, entre otras innumerables posibilidades. El impulso por la vida puede ser alimentado por nuestro deseo de construir el presente y el futuro mejor (y para nosotros, los autores de esta Editorial, el mejor medio más justo, más igualitario e inclusivo para todos).Em tempos tão difíceis se torna crucial encontrarmos espaços que permitam a pulsão da vida. O termo vindo da psicanálise é genérico, sabemos, controverso, com toda certeza, mas há algo nele que pode nos acenar para o presente e para o futuro. Em meio a tantos discursos de ódio, morte e miséria, é preciso encontrarmos algum sentido para o amanhã. Esses sentidos estão tanto na garantia de nossos direitos básicos, como educação, saúde, alimentação, moradia digna, entre outros previstos em nossa Carta Constituinte de 1988, mas também podem ser inventados em nossas pesquisas, em nossas salas de aula, nas artes, no compartilhar um sentido comum com uma comunidade, entre inúmeras outras possibilidades.
